ECCAIRS or European Co-ordination Centre for Accident and incident Reporting Systems is a co-operative network of European Civil Aviation Authorities (CAA’s) and Safety Investigation Authorities (SIA’s). The project is being managed by the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission (DG JRC) on request of the Directorate General for Mobility and Transport (DG MOVE) and in close co-operation with the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
As part of the regulation (EU) No 376/2014 organisations and individuals can report occurrences to their national competent authority using ECCAIRS compatibility. In line with this regulation feature regarding ECCAIRS, iFlight team implemented this feature on our system. From now on, all our customers can easily use this feature and submit corresponding reports to the ECCAIRS database.
Main feature is ability for our customers to export incidents in E5X format, allowing them to automatically submit them to ECCAIRS meeting required reporting conditions.
